An alleged sexual assault at a hotel in Center City, led to a 24-year old woman hitting a man in the head with a machete this morning.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened at the Best Western located on the 1200 block of Vine Street at around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive his injuries. Police said he is currently being held at the hospital as a prisoner. The machete was reportedly recovered at the scene. No charges have been filed against the woman.
