An 18-year old male was reportedly shot multiple times and killed in South Philadelphia this evening.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened near 17th & Christian Streets at around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
Investigators said the teen was walking with a group of people when a car pulled up and multiple suspects jumped out and began firing at the victim. First arriving police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police rushed the victim to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where he died shortly after arriving. A possible motive was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
