According to a report from TMZ, Miami PD received a 911-call about a strong-armed robbery taking place on a Yacht. The Captain told police that two men got aggressive with him after he told them their rental time had run out. The men reportedly demanded a refund. When they didn’t get their refund they threatened to kill the Captain and throw him overboard if he turned the boat around to head back now.

One crew member said he saw the men take the Captain’s wallet and cell phone, but police could not positively confirm this information due to conflicting witness accounts. At the end of the day, no one was arrested. Quavo’s lawyer, Drew Findling, told TMZ that Quavo was not a suspect or witness. He was just a passenger on the boat.

“To be clear Quavo was not mentioned in the police report narrative. Not only was Quavo not arrested, he is not even listed as a witness to any alleged dispute. Ultimately, no one on the boat was arrested”, Findling told TMZ.

Quavo, along with many others on the boat, were momentarily detained, handcuffed, and questioned by police. But everyone was eventually released with no one being charged with a crime.
