An unidentified woman reportedly opened fire on three suspects during an attempted home invasion robbery in the Germantown section of the city early this morning.
A report from 6 ABC Action News said the incident happened on the 4900 block of Germantown Avenue at around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
The homeowner reportedly shot the suspects as she was attempting to stop the trio from entering her home.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding two men suffering from gunshot wounds. A third suspect was also reportedly shot by the homeowner, but he managed to flee on foot before the police arrived.
The injured men were transported to the hospital and were treated as suspects, as in, they can expect to face criminal charges after they recover from their injuries. The third suspect remains on the lam at this time.
