An unidentified 51-year old man was reportedly shot multiple times and critically wounded in the Germantown section of the city early this morning.
A Fox-29 Philly report said the shooting happened on the 1300 block of Duval Street at around 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
First responding police officers at the scene said they found the victim suffering from at least 7-gunshot wounds. He was reportedly shot in the arms, thighs, buttocks, and back. Police rushed the victim to Einstein Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
