A 28-year old man was reportedly shot during an attempted carjacking in the East Falls section of the city early this morning.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened on the 3400 block of Sunnyside Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Police said the victim was shot once in the side of his chest by one of the suspects. Police rushed the victim to Temple University Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition.
Police said the suspects fled the scene in a white sedan. No arrests have been made at this time.
