A 30-year old woman was reportedly shot and critically wounded in North Philadelphia earlier in the week.
A Fox-29 Philly report said the shooting happened on the 600 block of Westmoreland Street at around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday night.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from multiple gunshots to her legs, abdomen, and back. The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital by police where she was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
