A 35-year old man was reportedly shot in the Grays Ferry section of the city this morning.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on the 1500 block of South Bailey Street at around 3 a.m. on Saturday morning.
First arriving police at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was rushed to Penn-Presbyterian Hospital by police where he was last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made.
