Wawa is hosting its annual Hoagie Build in Center City today, Wednesday June 28, 2023.
A 6 ABC Action News report said hundreds of Wawa employees from multiple locations around the city, will work together and build 7 tons of hoagies at the National Constitution Center.
Wawa plans to build and assemble 25,000 hoagies during the morning building session. 7,000 of those will go to Philabundance. Which is a non-profit organization that helps fight against hunger in Philadelphia and the Philadelphia region. 3,000 hoagies will go to P.A.L. and the Veterans Multi-Service Center, which will hold a “Heroes Lane” for veterans on the side of the National Constitution Center. The remaining 15,000 hoagies will be given out to the public free at the Wawa location at Arch Street between 5th & 6th.
Wawa will begin serving free hoagies at the location at around noon today, Wednesday June 28th, 2023!
