A 40-year old man was reportedly shot and killed in Southwest Philadelphia last night.

A report from Fox-29 Philly said the shooting happened on the 600 block of Regent Street at around 8 p.m. on Wednesday night.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Police rushed the victim to Penn-Presbyterian Hospital where he died shortly after arriving. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
