A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on the 700 block of East Locust Avenue at around 2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.

First arriving police officers at the scene reported finding two men (One reported to be in his 30’s, the other reported to be in his 40’s) suffering from gunshot wounds near the top of the block. A little further down the street police found a 12-year old who had also been shot. All three victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where all three victims died as a result of their injuries.

“We know that the two adult males were hit right at the top of the block, right by Crowson (Street), where they were found by police. It appears the juvenile was able to run towards his residence and was found a short distance away from the adults”, said Deputy Commissioner Of Investigations, Frank Vanore.

A possible motive for the shooting was not reported. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time. This is the second triple shooting today. The first one happened on Venango Street in North Philly at around 12:30 p.m. A 68-year old woman was shot and killed in the earlier triple shooting.
