Police said they are searching for several teens who allegedly attempted to light multiple sticks of dynamite inside of a grocery store in the Germantown section of the city yesterday.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened at the Fresh Grocer Supermarket located on the 5300 block of Chew Avenue at around 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
Store security spotted three teens all dressed in black and reportedly between the ages of 16-19 years of age, attempting to light up the dynamite. The suspects fled the scene after being spotted by security, but left the dynamite behind. The bomb squad was called in at that point. The bomb squad confirmed that sticks of dynamite were recovered. No injuries were reported.
