A 6 ABC Action News report said the first shooting happened in the Kensington section of the city on Amber Street & Susquehanna Avenue at around 10 p.m.

Police said that between 50 and 100 people were attending a party at the property when gunfire erupted. An 18-year old male was rushed to the hospital where he was last reported to be in critical but stable condition. No motive was reported, but police said they are investigating the incident.

“We’re trying to determine who actually rented the property; we don’t know” said Philadelphia Police Inspector, Michael Gormley.

The second shooting reportedly took place at a property in Strawberry Mansion on North 29th Street & Cecil B. Moore Avenue at around 11:50 p.m.

An 18-year old male was reportedly shot in the leg and a 13-year old girl was also shot. Both were last reported to be in stable conditions at nearby hospitals. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.

No arrests were reported in either shooting.
