MORE THAN 40-SHOTS FIRED DURING TRIPLE SHOOTING IN PHILLY’S POPLAR NEIGHBORHOOD

Three people were sent to the hospital with injuries after a triple-shooting in the Poplar neighborhood in North Philadelphia early this morning.

A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened at Franklin Place, located between Wallace and Green Streets at around 1 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Police said two men suffering from gunshot wounds arrived at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in a stolen vehicle. One of the victims were last reported to be in stable condition, while the other victim was last reported to be in critical condition. A third victim arrived at the same hospital a short time later. The female victim was last reported to be in stable condition. Her injuries were not reported. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.

Police said that more than 40-shell casings were found at the scene. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
