A 30-year old woman was reportedly shot in the head and killed in the Germantown section of the city this afternoon.
A Fox-29 Philly report said the shooting happened on the 500 block of East Duval Street at around 4:30 p.m.
First arriving police at the scene reported finding the woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. She was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center where she was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
