A tanker truck fire burning under an overpass on I-95 caused a large section of the highway to collapse in the Tacony section of the city early this morning.

A 6 ABC Action News report said the fire underneath I-95 near the Cottman Avenue exit was first reported at around 6 a.m. on Sunday morning.
The tanker that caught fire was reportedly carrying thousands of gallons of 87 octane gasoline. All lanes of the highway are reportedly shut down between the Woodhaven Road exits and Aramingo Avenue exit in Port Richmond.
No injuries have been reported.
