A 24-year old man was reportedly ambushed and shot multiple times as he was entering his home in the Strawberry Mansion of the city early this morning.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on North Marston Street near Montgomery Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. on Friday morning.
Police investigators said the victim was ambushed at his front door, sending bullets into the home where a woman and four children were inside. No one inside of the home was reported injured. The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
