A man and woman were both sentenced for their roles in the 2021 shooting and killing of 22-year old, David Padro Jr., outside of a cheesesteak shop in South Philly.

A Fox-29 Philly report said 37-year old Paul Burkert, pleaded guilty to charges in connection to Padro’s shooting and death at Pat’s King Of Steaks back in 2021. Burkert took a guilty plea In March of this year. Yesterday he was sentenced to serve 3.5 to 10 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter. That sentence will be ran concurrent with a 3-6 year sentence that Burkert was also hit with for weapons charges.
38-year old Jamie Frick from Lebanon County was also charged in connection to Padro’s death. She pleaded guilty to charges of simple assault and reckless endangerment. She was sentenced to serve 2-years on probation for her crimes.
