A police bomb squad was called to a corner store in the Feltonville section of North Philly early this morning after suspects attempted to blow up an ATM machine at the store.

A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened at North 5th Street & Wyoming Avenue at around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Investigators said three suspects placed what appeared to be a stick of dynamite into the money slot of the ATM machine, lit the fuse, and ran out of the store. Fortunately, the bomb did not go off and the suspects fled the scene afterward.
A description of the suspects were not made available, and no arrests have been made at this time.
