Three people were reportedly shot outside of the entrance to Temple University Hospital’s emergency room in North Philadelphia early this morning.

A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on the 3400 block of Germantown Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday morning.
The victims were reportedly standing on the sidewalk outside of the entrance to the ER when a dark-colored four door sedan pulled up, and the occupants of the car open fired on the three victims.
“It’s a very unusual location for people to be shot; we’re just a few feet from the doors and the driveway leading to Temple’s Emergency room. They {witnesses} believe three individuals were firing shots from that dark blue vehicle. We’re getting information that one of the shooters may have exited the vehicle and fired shots”, said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector, Scott Small.
Investigators say they found more than 40-spent shell casings at the scene. An 18-year old man was reportedly shot in the hand, a 22-year old man was shot in the knee, and a 25-year old man was reportedly shot in the face, back, and arm. All three victims were able to walk into the emergency room after the shooting where all three were last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
