40-year old, Sammar Khan is accused of shooting and killing her husband at a local public park in Bucks County, P.A. yesterday.
A Fox-29 Philly News report said the incident happened at the Bristol Borough Wharf on Tuesday morning.
Witnesses said Khan was seen arguing with her husband, 38-year old, Faisal Iqbal, near the coastline. The argument escalated and witnesses reported hearing Khan and Iqbal yelling at each other in a language the witnesses did not recognize. A single “pop” was heard shortly afterward and the two began wrestling. Witnesses say more gunshots were heard as the two walked towards the parking lot. Iqbal asked a witness to call 9-1-1- and that was when Khan reportedly shot her husband twice. He collapsed in a grassy area and laid on the ground defenseless. Khan reportedly walked over and shot Iqbal twice in the torso and once in the head.
First responding police officers at the scene found Khan still at the scene with blood on her clothes. Iqbal was pronounced dead at the scene.
Khan is being charged with multiple charges including homicide, and possession of an instrument of crime. Khan is currently being held without bail.
