A 6 ABC Action News report said Moore is reported to have posed as someone who worked for a bank and was looking to buy luxury watches on Facebook Marketplace. Investigators said Moore offered to buy a Louis Vuitton bag along with several Rolex and Cartier watches that were being sold for tens of thousands of dollars.

Moore would then set up a meet to purchase the goods where he would end up robbing the unsuspecting victims.

“He would set up these exchanges outside or inside of banks, where he pretended to work”, said Supervisor Of The Major Trials Unit, Liam Riley.

Moore has been charged with 11 robberies that went the same way. Investigators said that the buyers assumed they would be safe because the transaction was supposed to take place in public. Moore is currently incarcerated and being held on $10.9 million bail.
