A 17-year old male was reportedly stabbed in front of a high school in West Philadelphia this afternoon.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the stabbing happened outside of Parkway West High School located on the 4700 block of Fairmount Avenue at around 2:35 p.m.
The school was placed on lockdown while police investigated the incident. The teenage victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
