A 15-year old boy was reportedly shot and critically wounded in the Hunting Park section of the city yesterday.

A report from Fox-29 Philly said the shooting happened on the 100 block of West Wyoming Avenue at around 7:30 p.m. on Monday evening.
First arriving police officers at the scene did not find a shooting victim upon arrival at the scene. They did find four spent shell casings lying in the street and someone’s blood splattered on the ground nearby. A few minutes later, police at the scene were informed that a 15-year old shooting victim had just arrived at St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to the thigh. He was the victim shot at the location.
Authorities said the teen was transferred to Temple University Hospital and that he had lost a lot of blood. The victim was last reported to be in critical condition. No arrests have been made at this time, but police say the suspected shooter is known to the victim and his family.
