Police found a man lying in the middle of the road on 11th Street, in front of what used to be the Fairhill Projects. Police thought the man had passed out in the middle of the road, but a closer inspection led police to believe that the unidentified victim, believed to be in his 20’s, was actually the victim of an early morning hit and run.
A report from NBC-10 Philly said the incident happened on the 2400 block of North 11th Street at around 6:11 a.m. on Monday morning.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. No arrests have been made at this time. Police said an investigation is ongoing.
