Three bandits reportedly broke into a sneaker store in Central Peru and made off with about 200 pairs of sneakers. That would’ve been a pretty decent haul if the stolen sneakers weren’t all “right-foot” sneakers.

A report from FOX Business said the theft reportedly took place on April 30th at around 3:30 a.m. at a sneaker store in Huancayo…the capital city of the Junin region.

The trio of bandits stole around 200 pair of right-foot sneakers worth an estimated $13,000. According to the store, $13,000 is the value of the right-foot sneakers even without the left foot. Surveillance video from the store is reported to the show three suspects carrying out three large boxes with around 220 “well known” name brand sneakers inside. The thieves reportedly used a tricycle to bring their break in tools to the job and transport the stolen merchandise afterward.

No arrests have been made at this time. Police said they believe the stolen right-foot sneakers are being hidden somewhere, because they don’t believe the thieves will be able to sell them…..neither do I.
