A 31-year old man was reportedly shot in the stomach in the Olney section of the city early this morning.
A report from NBC-10 Philly said the shooting happened on the 300 block of East Gale Street at around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday morning.
First arriving police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
