One man is reportedly dead and another man was left critically wounded after a possible robbery attempt in the Germantown section of the city last night.
A report from Fox-29 Philly said the shooting happened on the 6300 block of Ogontz Avenue at around 10:46 p.m. on Monday night.
A 43-year old man was reportedly shot once in the hand and one time in the face. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 53-year old man was also struck by gunfire during the shooting. He was shot multiple times in the chest. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. According to police, robbery was the motive. However, police did not give any details or reveal how they came to that conclusion…..at this time.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
