Battle rap superstar, Rahjon Cox A.K.A. Tsu-Surf, pleaded guilty to violating R.I.C.O. charges inside of a Newark, New Jersey federal courtroom on Friday April 28th.

According to a report from Complex Magazine, Surf pleaded guilty to two counts of racketeering conspiracy and possessing firearms and ammunition as a convicted felon. He’s facing 20-years in prison for the racketeering charges and another 10-years in prison for the weapons possession charges.
Tsu-Surf was arrested in October of 2022 after a brief standoff with police in Jersey City, where he barricaded himself inside of a home as police were attempting to arrest him. According to a press release by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey, Surf admitted to committing crimes between the years 2015-2022 as a member of the “Rollin’ 60’s Neighborhood Crips”. Surf is alleged to have held a “leadership” position in the gang, and he’s also alleged to have shot at a rival gang member in 2017.
Tsu-Surf is scheduled to be sentenced on September 12, 2023.
