Three people were reportedly shot in the Kensington section of the city early this morning. The three victims were all reported to have been shot in the back.

A CBS-3 Philly report said the shooting happened on the 1800 block of Lippincott Street shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday morning.

A 27-year old man and a 53-year old woman were both reportedly shot in the back. Another unidentified male victim was shot in the upper back and chin. The 27 & 53-year old victims were both rushed to nearby hospitals, where both immediately underwent surgery. None of the victim’s current conditions were reported. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.

No arrests have been made. The shooting is under investigation.
