A 24-year old man and a 40-year old woman were both reportedly shot in the face during a shooting in the Nicetown-Tioga section of the city yesterday.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on the 3800 block of 13th Street at around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
The 40-year old female victim was reportedly shot once in the face. She was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she was last reported to be in critical condition. The 24-year old male victim was shot once in the face and four times in the arm. He was also rushed to Temple University Hospital where he too, was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
The identities of the victims have not been released to the public yet. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
