A man reported to be “in his 20’s”, was shot and killed in the Kensington section of the city early this morning.
A report from NBC-10 Philly said police responded to a call of a shooting on the 3200 block of Kensington Avenue at around 4:19 a.m. on Monday morning.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and lower back. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released to the public. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time. Police said an investigation is ongoing.
