A FedEx delivery truck was reportedly sprayed with bullets by a group of teenagers standing on a corner in the Lawncrest section of the city last night.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened on the 200 block of East Van Kirk Street at around 10 p.m. on Thursday night.
The FedEx truck was reportedly hit by at least four bullets. An unattended parked vehicle was also hit by gunfire at least three times.
“The witnesses said that these juveniles were about 15 to 16 years of age, and they appeared to be firing shots directly at the FedEx truck”, said Police Chief Inspector, Scott Small.
The FedEx driver was not hurt during the shooting. No arrests have been made and no suspects have been named at this time.
