If the Nets were going to win one game in this series, this was supposed to be it. After last night’s game I honestly can’t see the Nets putting up too much of a fight in game-4.
The 76ers beat the Brooklyn Nets 102-97 last night in Brooklyn. Even with Joel Embiid having an off night (5-13 for 14 points and 10 rebounds), James Harden being ejected from the game in the 3rd quarter, and the Nets holding a lead late in the game, the 76ers still managed to pull off the W. This game was very likely the one that slapped all of the fight out of the Nets. I’m expecting a sweep when the two teams take the court again on Saturday.
The 76ers were once again led by Tyreese Maxey, who ended the contest with 25 points. James Harden dropped 21 for the 76ers before being ejected from the game in the 3rd quarter. Mikal Bridges led the way for the Nets with 26 points. Spencer Dinwiddie added 20 for the losers who have now lost nine (9) straight playoff games!
I expect it to be 10 in a row come Saturday. Bye-bye dirty ass Nets! See ya next season! Get your weight up not your hate up! Check out some of the highlights from game-3 below:
