The 76ers took a 2-0 lead in their first round best of 7 series against the Brooklyn Nets last night in front of a very hyped sell-out crowd in South Philly.
The 76ers were led by Tyrese Maxey, who ended with a game-high 33 points. Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris dropped 20 points apiece in the victory for the home team. Embiid also snatched 19 rebounds during the W.
The Nets were led by Cam Johnson, who ended with 28-points. 22 of those came in the first half though. Mikal Bridges dropped 21 points in the loss.
The Nets have looked outmatched in both of these games, in my opinion. Game-3 is Thursday night in New York. I fully expect the Nets to come out and throw everything they have at the 76ers. They will likely be fueled by a home crowd who is thirsty for a victory. Even with the extra added fuel, I think the 76ers will be too much for this nets team to handle. But, I’m in a good mood this morning, so I’m going to be nice and give the Nets one game in this series. I like the 76ers 4-1 in this one.
