A 37-year old woman and a 5-year old girl were reportedly found by police after being stabbed multiple times inside of a home in North Philadelphia last night.
A report from KYW News Radio said police were called to a home 0n 20th Street, between Berks Street and Montgomery Avenue at around 7:30 p.m. on Monday night.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the woman and the child lying on the floor in the living room. Both victims were suffering from multiple stab wounds. Police rushed the woman and child to a nearby hospital where both were last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the stabbing was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
