A Philadelphia Police officer was reportedly injured during a sudden “flash mob” in Center City this week, that included hundred of teenagers.

A report from CNN said the incident happened on Wednesday evening shortly before 8 p.m. The officer was reportedly injured while chasing a teen who’d allegedly attempted to free another teen who was in the backseat of a police car. The officer was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries. He was last reported to be in stable condition.
The report said between 4 and 5 arrests were made on Wednesday night.
