The shooting happened inside of a garage/detail shop on the block. Police investigators said at least 50-shots were fired from one or more semi-automatic weapons.

“We’re getting information that three males showed up wearing masks and entered this garage. And we know over 50-shots were fired from a semi-automatic weapon or weapons because we found over 50-spent shell casings”, said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector, Scott Small.

A 39-year old man was reportedly shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other victims were all between the ages of 27 & 39 years of age. All three victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where all four were last reported to be in critical condition. An additional victim was shot in the hand. He was last reported to be in stable condition. Police say they aren’t sure if the shop was open at the time of the shooting. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
