A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened at Septa’s Broad Street Line Snyder Avenue Station at around 9:30 p.m.

First responding officers at the scene reported spotting a woman fleeing from the subway station. She was suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Down on the platform, police found another victim. He was suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital. Their current conditions were not reported.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot after the shooting. He ran down Rosewood Street, where he reportedly tossed the weapon. The suspect was apprehended and the weapon was recovered by police.

“We believe there may have been two shooters in some sort of shootout,” said Philadelphia Chief Inspector, Scott Small.
