33-year old, actor, Jonathan Majors, was reportedly arrested in New York yesterday and accused of multiple criminal charges, including strangulation, assault, and harassment.
A report from the Associated Press said police responded to a call inside of an apartment in the Chelsea section of Manhattan at around 11 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Majors was reportedly involved in a “domestic dispute” with a 30-year old woman at the location according to NYPD.
“The victim informed police she was assaulted. Officers placed the 33-year old male into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her neck and head and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition” said an NYPD Spokesperson on Saturday.
A representative for Majors said “He has done nothing wrong” and “We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up” in an Email to the Associated Press. Majors was booked and eventually released from jail on Saturday night. A court hearing date was not reported.
