A 22-year old woman and her 2-year old child were reportedly injured during a car crash in the Mount Airy section of the city early this morning.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the car crash happened at the intersection of Chew Avenue & Upsal Street at around 1:15 a.m. on Monday morning.
Investigators said the car kept moving until it hit a parked car after the initial crash. Mother & daughter both reportedly had to be freed from the wreckage by police. Investigators said the daughter was not properly restrained in a car seat, but is expected top be O.K. No word was given on the mom’s current condition.
