A 35-year old woman was reportedly shot inside of the restroom of a bar in the Feltonville section of the city last night.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened at a bar on Rising Sun Avenue & Loudon Street at around 9 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Investigators say a 39-year old woman shot the victim once in the arm and one time in the hip inside of the women’s restroom. The victim was rushed to the hospital where she was last reported to be in critical condition. Police said the suspect was apprehended about two blocks away from the bar.
“When police stopped that female, they did recover a handgun from her. A witness from the bar was driven to that location, where the witness gave police a positive identification that the woman was the shooter at the bar”, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
Investigators said they believe the shooter and victim know each other, but a motive for the shooting has not yet been revealed.
