Several people were arrested after a police chase that spanned multiple neighborhoods in the city overnight.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident began after multiple suspects opened fired on a group of people on Washington Avenue in South Philly at around 3 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The suspects reportedly jumped into a U-haul van after the shooting, with police in immediate pursuit. The police chase made its way through Center City and other neighborhoods before coming to an end on the 5000 block of Newhall Street in the Germantown section of the city.
Three male suspects and a female were reportedly taken into custody without further incident. The ages of the suspects were not reported.
