A 50-year old woman was found shot to death inside of her home in Northeast Philadelphia last night.
A report from Fox-29 Philly said a call to 911 at around 7 p.m. on Thursday evening, reported that a man had just shot and killed his mother inside of a 2nd floor apartment on the 400 block of Parlin Street.
First arriving police officers at the scene reportedly took an unidentified person into custody immediately after entering the apartment. 50-year old Rima Ablyamitova was found on the floor with a single gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead by medics who arrived at the scene shortly after the police.
No other details on the incident were released at this time.
