A 26-year old woman was killed by a teenage suspect during an attempted armed robbery in the Logan section of the city early this morning.

A report from Fox-29 Philly said the incident happened on the 5100 block of North 12th Street at around 1:45 a.m. on Thursday morning.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the victim lying on the sidewalk near the entrance to her apartment complex. She was pronounced dead 6 minutes after being located by police.
Investigators said they found five spent shell casings at the scene. Two guns were also found nearby. After speaking with witnesses, investigators believe two masked men approached two women and tried to rob them. At some point, shots were exchanged between the 26-year old victim and the suspect(s). Investigators said the suspects fled the scene in a white sedan.
Shortly afterward, a 15-year old was dropped off at Albert Einstein Hospital by a white sedan. He was suffering from gunshot wounds to his hands, arms, and chest…….
