A 27-year old woman was shot and killed after her and a 23-year old male got into an argument that escalated into the two shooting at each other outside of a bar in Southwest Philadelphia early this morning.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened at a bar at the intersection of 53rd Street & Woodland Avenue shortly after midnight on Thursday morning.
Investigators said the pair got into an argument inside of the bar which continued as the two left the bar. Once outside, words turned into gunfire and the two ended up shooting at each other. The woman was shot twice. She was rushed to a nearby hospital by private vehicle where she was pronounced dead.
The male remained at the scene and is reportedly cooperating with the police investigation. No arrests have been made at this time. There was no word given on if any charges are pending against the male.
