Four teenagers and a woman were hit by gunfire during a shooting in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city this evening.

A report from 6 ABC Action News said the shooting happened on the 3100 block of West Norris Street at around 6 p.m. on Thursday evening.

 

 

 

A 13-year old boy was shot in the hand. He was taken to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where he was last reported to be in stable condition. A 15-year old male was shot twice in the chest. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was also last reported to be in stable condition.

 

 

 

Two 16-year old males were also hit by gunfire. The 1st 16-year old was shot once in the arm. He was taken to Temple University Hospital. A second 16-year old male was shot once in the right arm and once in the right thigh. He was taken to Jefferson University Hospital. A 31-year old woman was reportedly shot twice in the thigh. She was taken to Temple University Hospital. All three were last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.

 

No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
