A report from the Los Angeles Times said Holder was sentenced to 25-years to life in prison for the murder of Nipsey Hussle, and another 25-years on top of that for a sentencing enhancement involving a felon in possession of a gun. Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge, H. Clay Jackee, then sentenced Holder to another 10-years for shooting two other men who were standing near Nipsey Hussle when the murder happened.

During closing arguments Holder’s lawyer, Aaron Jansen, argued that Hussle and Holder were both members of the Rolling 60’s set of the Crips. Jansen said Hussle had put Holder’s life in danger by calling him a snitch in front of other Rollin’ 60’s Crips members, because of Hussle’s stature in the gang, and that they were right in the heart of Rollin’ 60’s Crips’ territory at the time.

“This was not just a pleasant conversation between homies who are chopping it up, this was a serious accusation. Mr. Holder Jr. took it serious, as it was. He knows the consequences of being called a snitch in this manner”, said Jansen.
