75-year old, Michael Thomas Ghionne was reportedly struck and killed by a police vehicle as he rode his bike in West Goshen Township over the weekend.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened on South High Street, right underneath the 202 overpass at around 10:15 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Police said the officer and Ghionne were traveling in the same direction when he was struck from behind by the police vehicle. Police said the officer did not have his lights or sirens on as he rushed to the scene of a traffic call. Ghionne was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges have been filed against the police officer at this time.
