A huge “spy balloon” reportedly from China, was spotted floating through United States territory, flying above the State of Montana yesterday.
A 6 ABC Action News report said U.S. officials are aware of the situation, and are currently said to be closely monitoring the balloon and its movements. President Joe Biden has reportedly decided against any “military actions” at this point, due to a possible risk to civilians, according to the report.
“The United States government has detected and is tracking a high-altitude surveillance balloon that is flying over the Continental United States right now. NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) continues to monitor and track it closely”, Brig. Gen., Pat Ryder said in a statement on Thursday.
